Developed by a team of geologists and software professionals, the LogManager enables petroleum exploration professionals to describe and manage core logs easily, rapidly and accurately.

Featuring an easy-to-learn and easy-to-use graphical user interface, the LogManager brings point-and-click simplicity to the core lab, the office or the well site. Developed with extensive human factors design and testing it provides expert assist functions that includes:

• Clastic and carbonate profiles
• Point-and-click insertion of beds lithologies, structures, fauna, facies, etc.
• Insertion of lost rock at any depth in the log
• User-definable preferences for commonly used items
• User-selectable (hide and reveal) and resizable rock attribute columns
• Updatable libraries of lithology, faun and structure symbols
• Undo and redo buttons
• Collapsible/expandable core header information

LogManager also provides tools for managing:

• Electrical logs (import as strip log images or as LAS files, inclusion in the core log and use for core-on-depth adjustments)
